OVERVIEW:
NY Purity is a top grade filter media for highly efficient purification of aquarium. It corrects problems water caused by pollutants which can suppress a fish’s immune system, leading to disease or death. NY Purity removes nitrogenous organic waste to control ammonia, nitrite and nitrate also effectively fixes unpleasant colors and odors. NY Purity adsorbs soluble and insoluble impurities from water with 300% effective than other competing products. DIRECTIONS:
Rinse before use. Each 100ml treats 400L (100 US gallons) for 3 months. For most effective use, NY Purity should be placed in a filter so as to maximize the flow of water through it. Exhaustion is indicated by a pronounced discoloration of the media to dark brown or black.
REGENERATION:
Soak in a 1:1 bleach:water solution or for 24 hours in a non-metallic container in a well ventilated area and away from children. Use regular 8.25% hypochlorite household bleach (non-scented, no dyes, do not use a splash-less bleach). Rinse it thoroughly by water. Original color and full activity should now be restored and NY Purity is ready for reuse.
Caution: some slime coat products may permanently foul NY Purity and render regeneration difficult. Do not reuse if odor of bleach/chlorine is detectable. In case of doubt, soak it in small quantity of water and test for residual chlorine with a chlorine test kit.
